Whats with the Pricing? Rav4 Hybrid 120k and BYD Song Plus at 118 and 140k

Completely confused with the pricing these days. Toyota is having a hard time selling cars specially the crossovers similarly BYD was meant to break the status quo with their competitive pricing of BYD Song Plus (Seal U in order countries).
