Before the release of Camp Cretaceous, did people had high/low/moderate expectations of it?
So, I'm now watching season 4 (ep 4), and so far I really liked it! I didn't expect to route for the characters as much as I do now, the story is thrilling, there are moments when stuff is pretty scary and tense, and I do appreciate that it gets away with having people actually die in a show aimed at a younger audience.
But I was wondering: when the first images for the show got released, or when it was announced, were people excited for the show? I'm asking because I have an impression that there was some skepticism back there. There were two Jurassic World films, the first being... mostly well-received and the second one and the reception was... much worse. So I am under the impression that people weren't very excited since the story will be built on a not-so-strong foundation. Now, I'll admit, the character designs of the show kinda feel like they have the same design philosophy as most CG-animated shows aimed at kids, not that I mind that personally.
