[i ate]Eel Lunch at Kyoto
We visited Fushimi Inari Taisha and found ourselves feeling really hungry. We decided to look for a random restaurant away from the tourist crowds. After a 10-minute walk, we discovered a lovely spot and waited in line for about 10 minutes.
Initially, we planned to order a whole eel to share and add more side dishes, but we were informed that each person needed to order their own lunch set, though sharing was allowed.
Respecting the cultural difference, we went ahead and ordered four lunch sets. The food was decent, with prices ranging from $24 to $30 per person.
