Elder brother bullying me for buying and playing skyrim on ps5

I wanted to play skyrim for so long and now I cant even play because my elder brother would come and comment on the graphics music gameplay and actually everything . He says that the game is way too old to be played on ps5 . His constant nagging and negative reviews of the game has made me lose all my enthusiasm for the game . I am not a big gamer but I want to play skyrim . He plays games like gow5 and he bullies me for playing skyrim . He says that I am wasting time by playing such an old game . Also Since I die a lot in the game he tells me that this game is not made for ps console . Should I play it on my pc ? what should I do to shut him up for good ?

After reading all your thoughts, I’ve realized that I need to step up and fight for what I love instead of worrying about what others think. Honestly, I’ve always placed too much value on other people’s validation especially my elder brother’s,but not anymore. That changes today.

I love my brother, so some of your comments were a bit hard to read. But I’ve decided to set my boundaries and make it clear to him that he needs to respect them. He doesn’t have to like my interests, but he has no right to belittle them. I’m not doing anything wrong or illegal, so there’s no reason for him to interfere in my choices.

And if he does? Well, I’ll be reading all your comments out loud. With nearly 400 people calling him out, that’s enough to humble anyone.

Now I truly understand why Skyrim is such a legendary game. It’s not just the gameplay; it’s the amazing, supportive community that makes it even better. You guys have made my experience 500% more enjoyable.
