Hot Take: Sean O’Malley will never win the belt again

Hear me out. Sean has a lengthy history with injuries, and he is about to be out for atleast a year. In that time, Umar will probably hold the belt. I can’t see Sean winning the belt again in the current roster, unless he seriously improves his grappling. Even then, I feel like he may be overwhelmed by younger talent in the division such as Payton Tablot.

Sean didn’t display heart in his last fight. I honestly can’t see him taking grappling serious enough to challenge Umar or Merab.
